The main components in the Freightliner kit are a roof, backwall and an air ride kit.
This Daycab Co. kit will give you 4" of additional room behind the seat compared to a factory Daycab. This kit gives you the appearance of a factory daycab.
The new roof fits flush with seam line.
Complete with factory look.
The Freightliner FLD series conversion kits are just 2 body panels and an
air ride kit. The new roof lies on top of your old roof above the front
windshield, where the cab is low and flat. You can easily remove the section
of the truck roof that slopes upward. The back wall may look like it is 3
pieces, but it is just 1. Using composites we are able to pull a mold off of a
regular daycab to make it look that way. In the installation process this is
much faster. Working with one part is easier than 20. We have designed an
air ride kit to save you time and money. It is a bolt on application that
can reuse your old shocks or bags or order new ones using your VIN number.

Many things affect the time required for installation. We believe
40 hours of labor is a reasonable expectation.
All daycab conversion kits add more seat room or leave seat travel the same
as sleeper truck specifications.
